The story behind Neptune Bury St Edmunds dates back to the Georgian era. Originally built for Robert Boby, a brand known for inventors, designers and makers of hay and seed machinery, the building still carries that heritage today. The road that runs alongside is named ‘the Robert Boby Way’, and when we restored the property, we preserved as many original features as possible, from the large sash windows to the grand double staircase. More recently, we’ve added new elements, such as the beautiful orangery at the rear, all designed to respect its history.

We’re a well-established team of home design enthusiasts, who put our customers at the forefront of everything we do. Our store leader is Beulah who has over 20 years of retail experience. Our assistant store leader Siobahn has been in retail management the past 9 years, with a broad range of experience working across luxury lifestyle and Interior brands. Our kitchen designers Fiona, Rebekah, Lara and Bethan have both been designing kitchens for many years, and with a helping hand from Lucy our design consultant, they’ll be with you at every stage of your design project. We also have an experienced team of friendly home specialists, who are on hand to help you with any queries no matter how big or small and can offer you expert advice on all things Neptune.
