Get ready for Broadway: a new outdoor kitchen concept that harnesses our cabinetry craftsmanship and material expertise into a new collection created for cooking and entertaining in your garden.
As a company that began making garden furniture some 30 years ago before expanding into quality kitchen cabinetry, a kitchen concept for the garden seems completely logical. Introducing the imminent launch of Broadway: a fitted kitchen designed with the same integrity as all our other collections, that is also meticulously crafted and weatherproofed for your garden, whatever the season.

In recent years, the barrier between outdoor and indoor living has experienced a metaphorical knocking down of walls. The rise in biophilic design has seen natural materials, plants, earthy colours and organic shapes welcomed into our homes. But what about taking the indoors outside? Creating ‘rooms’ in our outdoor spaces has been something we have done for many years at Neptune – our dining and living garden furniture and accessories are important parts of our whole home vision – but when it came to alfresco entertaining, the practicalities of the cook area all too often relied on indoor kitchen facilities.
Last year, we noticed a shift in the way people think about their garden spaces, as Fred Horlock, design director, explains: ‘In 2025, we were presenting our latest garden collection alongside our popular fitted Suffolk kitchen at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. We had so many comments from visitors about their desire for more outdoor cooking options. Luckily, we were already in the early stages of drawing up concepts for what will become our new garden kitchen: Broadway.’

Envisioned as a seamless extension of the home, Broadway has the unique look of a traditional Shaker kitchen – with its classic, recessed panel, framed doors – but with careful consideration given to materials and construction to make it withstand the elements of outdoor living.
Lead designer Mike Charlton explains: ‘We’ve taken our traditional modular approach to the new Broadway collection so that it can be configured to fit any garden. With each cabinet, we’ve used angled panel trims to ensure water run-off and added drainage holes inside.’
Crafted from a robust engineered timber and finished with a specialist weather-proof paint in our classic Cactus shade, Broadway breaks the mould of what an outdoor kitchen can be. ‘The garden is an extension of your living space, and Broadway is our next step in adopting this seamless approach to living,’ adds Fred. ‘It’s an outdoor kitchen that can be used to celebrate every season, while providing the freedom and fun of cooking alfresco.’

The Broadway kitchen is available for pre-order through our specialist Kitchen Design Service, with expert designers on hand to support you throughout the planning process ahead of installation in 2027.
The Broadway comes to RHS Chelsea Flower Show
For the third year running, we will be exhibiting at RHS Chelsea Flower Show this year, showcasing the new Broadway outdoor kitchen for the first time as well as more of our alfresco dining and seating designs.
In 2025, the award-winning stand featured the Borough freestanding island and a Pembrey dining table with Longmeadow chairs, alongside Kew sofas and armchairs. This year’s even larger exhibition stand will feature stunning alfresco cooking, dining and relaxing areas, all under an impressive oak frame. We hope to see you there.
