Our palest grey, Shingle, offers just a touch more depth than white and can be used across walls to create a very calm, restful space that feels light and airy during the day but also atmospheric in evening lamplight. Alternatively, it’s a useful woodwork or ceiling colour to partner with deeper greys. Like all the colours in our Pebble palette, it has a warmth to it that makes it very easy to live with. It’s actually the colour we’ve chosen as standard on all our Chichester pieces because it’s so timeless and understated.

Where we see it

Shingle’s hint of grey is a great match for our seasoned oak furniture. To warm it up a little, pair with our grey wools, or for a cooler look, add pale blue accents.
