Neptune kitchen showrooms near Steyning
At the foot of the South Downs, where the River Adur cuts a gap through the hills, Steyning is a town of oak-framed medieval houses, often hidden behind later fronts, Georgian brick-and-flint townhouses, and family homes on its later estates. Each one deserving a kitchen to match. Every Neptune kitchen in Steyning is made from solid timber and traditional joinery, built to be cooked in, gathered around, and last a lifetime.

Kitchens for Steyning homes
Steyning’s oldest houses cluster around Church Street and the old centre, many still under roofs of Horsham stone or clay tile. Georgian houses followed in the 18th century, and along the High Street, fronts of knapped flint dressed in red brick are still common. Most homes are more recent: Mill Road’s red-brick terrace dates from the early 20th century, and family houses north of the centre around Shooting Field and Coxham Lane came later still.
Each of those eras asks something different of a kitchen, and so do the villages around Steyning. Our Chichester kitchen, with painted cabinetry and Georgian proportions, sits well behind the brick frontages of Henfield’s older houses. Henley’s mix of oak and paint suits the larger houses of the Adur valley, while Suffolk’s quieter Shaker lines work in the village houses across the river in Upper Beeding. Freestanding Borough pieces give the newer homes in Small Dole a flexible layout.
Whatever your home, our designers take the time to understand your space, your architecture and the way you live, creating bespoke kitchens across Steyning and the Adur Valley villages around it.

About our kitchen design service
Why choose Neptune for your Steyning kitchen
Every Neptune kitchen is made from sustainably sourced solid timber. No MDF, no chipboard. Just solid oak, tulipwood and hardwood ply, constructed using traditional mortise-and-tenon joints and dovetail drawers that are built to last not just years, but generations.
That commitment to quality is part of what we call our 100-year mindset: making kitchens designed to outlast trends, refurbishments and generations of family life. It's why we can offer a lifetime guarantee on every kitchen we fit through our approved installation teams. Should any cabinet warp or crack from natural wood movement, we will repair or replace it. It's a promise we've made with confidence since John Sims-Hilditch and Giles Redman founded Neptune in 1996.
Our designers bring that same care to every project. Rated 4.8 out of 5 on Trustpilot, with over 10,000 reviews, Neptune is consistently rated among the UK's highest-rated kitchen brands, not because we simply deliver a product, but because we guide you through every stage of the process, from your first free consultation to the final fitting.
