Named after the traditional Italian dish of ground corn, Polenta is a creamy, pale-yellow hue that's subtly enriched with a hint of black for depth and sophistication. Evoking the warmth and texture of rustic Italy, it has a refined edge that makes it a perfect fit for British interiors. Choose emulsion for a matt finish, or eggshell for a subtle sheen.

How to use - primer

Great paintwork starts with a great primer. Ours works as a base coat or wood primer with all our paints - matt emulsion and eggshell. Use it to prep surfaces and it’ll make the end result much better, with a smooth, long lasting finish.

  • Clean brushes with warm water and soap.  
  • When painting a space where humidity and temperatures fluctuate, drying times may be longer.  
  • We recommend purchasing as much paint as you need in one go so it’s from the same batch and keep some spare for touch-ups.  
  • Colours may vary slightly with each pot – once open, stir thoroughly to ensure the paint is well mixed.  
  • Recycle the metal tin and plastic handle separately at home.
