Compton Modular Wicker Garden Sofa Component

Compton’s a simple square shape, but with soft, rounded edges that make it easy on the eye. The focus is on the wicker weave, so it’ll add lots of texture to your outdoor space (or garden room). It’s made using a material that mimics willow and rattan, in natural tones that are easy to live with and complement stone or timber. These modular sections can be combined to make all kinds of sofa shapes and sizes. Back and seat cushions included.

The material

Compton’s made with a woven resin fibre we call ‘all-weather wicker’ – it’s got very much the same look as natural rattan, but it’s happy being left outside and will make your life much easier (as well as having a longer lifespan).

The seat cushions

All our garden furniture cushions are made from natural-coloured, weather-resistant fabric, so you needn’t bring them inside if there’s a quick summer shower. They’re not completely weatherproof, though, so don’t leave them out all year long or in pouring rain. They’re filled with foam, which is soft but keeps its shape well, and the covers are removable, so they’re easy to clean.

How it feels

Compton’s one of our smaller designs, with quite a high seat, but it’s wide enough to be roomy. Although the frame’s firm and the cushions are supportive, you’ll still gently sink into it.

Design details

At the bottom of each leg, a section’s left bare to protect the weave from moisture, dirt and scuffs, and capped with plastic to make the seat easier to move.

Where we see it

There are five separate Compton sections so you can combine them together in any way you like, whether that’s a corner or straight sofa, to seat lots of people or just a few. Each piece connects underneath, so they won’t shuffle around once in place.

Smaller parcel deliveries via courier:

  • Next working day delivery £9.95, available on small parcel deliveries to most UK mainland addresses*. Order before 2pm on a working day, no minimum spend
  • Standard parcel deliveries to qualifying UK postcodes* will arrive within 5 days via our approved couriers for in-stock items

  • Free delivery to Republic of Ireland over €250, otherwise €30

Returns

  • Most items can be returned within 28 days of delivery, athough additional courier or collection fees may apply
  • Cancel your order within 24 hours for a full refund
  • Made-to-order and painted-to-order designs cannot be amended, cancelled, or returned after this time
