The Sheldrake 4-6 seater extendable oak dining table offers the flexibility to move from everyday dining to entertaining with ease. Its oval oak tabletop is supported by turned, tapering legs that echo Georgian design. Closed, it seats four comfortably, but once extended it provides space for up to six. Compact and elegant, it’s well suited to kitchens and smaller dining rooms while still retaining the strength and character of solid oak.

The material

We source the finest cuts of solid oak for our timber desigins, which gives it the strength and longevity to last for generations. Like any natural material, oak features variations in colour and grain and characterful knots - qualities to be celebrated as part of its very nature.

  • Our oak furniture is protected by our IsoGuard® treatment, designed to repel water and provide short-term protection against spillages. For best results, promptly wipe away any liquid to avoid staining.
  • Dust furniture regularly with dry e-cloth and gently remove marks with a damp one as needed.
  • Our tannins spot stain remover is cleverly formulated to lift stains from the surface should you require it.
  • For a deeper clean, our surface soap is specially formulated to efficiently remove dirt and marks without removing the protective IsoGuard® finish.
  • Avoid standard furniture cleaners and polishes, as these may damage the finish.
  • To maintain a well-loved Neptune piece, our care kit and treatment oil can be used every couple of years to refresh furniture and keep it looking its best.

Smaller parcel deliveries:

  • Standard delivery fee: £6.95 for orders under £150 (€30 for orders under €250 in Ireland).
  • Next day delivery: £9.95, available on parcel deliveries to the UK only. Order before 2pm, no minimum spend.
  • Free standard delivery: on orders over £150 (€250 in Ireland).

Standard parcel deliveries to mainland UK for in-stock items will arrive within 5 days via our approved couriers.

Larger furniture deliveries:

  • Delivered through our Neptune Home Delivery Service, with charges based on the required service level. See our full delivery policy for details.
  • Made-to-order or unavailable items will be dispatched upon arrival at our warehouse, or we’ll contact you to arrange delivery.
