With its sloping back, sinuously curving side profile, slim arms, buttoned back cushions and tapered teak legs, Bryher is one very refined, light and graceful outdoor seating collection. It considers the practicalities of outside life too, with a frame made from durable all-weather wicker and cushions in our weather-resistant textile, but aside from those details, it wouldn’t be out of place in any interior (and in fact, we think it makes an excellent collection for garden rooms). This is the sofa – a two and a half-seater size that’ll fit two people comfortably or three smaller individuals – and there’s also a matching armchair.

What is all-weather wicker?

All-weather wicker is a resin material that’s woven around a frame. It’s coloured and textured to look just like natural materials such as rattan and willow, but is much stronger and better suited to life outdoors year round – it’ll never crack, flake or fade. It’s also brilliantly easy to look after – a wash down with a hose or pressure spray is all it needs.

The legs

We chose teak for Bryher’s legs because it’s one of the best timbers for using outside. That’s because it’s full of natural oils that protect it from drying and cracking from the off, to which we then add our linseed oil-based, environmentally friendly IsoGuard® oil. This brings additional protection against oxidisation and drying (the teak will still silver nicely over time, although reapplication of IsoGuard® will help if you’d prefer it not to) without masking its texture.

The cushions

All our outdoor furniture cushions are made from a weather-resistant, pale cream coloured polyester fabric. They’ll be completely happy outside during the summer and in light showers, although we do recommend bringing them in over winter.

  • Clean all-weather wicker with a garden hose.
  • Wash removeable seat cushion covers on a 30°C delicate wash then line dry.
  • Blot non-removeable back cushion covers, and any marks, with mild soapy water and a damp e-cloth.
  • Do not tumble dry.
  • Legs should be treated with Weathered Moss IsoGuard once a year.

Smaller parcel deliveries:

  • Standard delivery fee: £6.95 for orders under £150 (€30 for orders under €250 in Ireland).
  • Next day delivery: £9.95, available on parcel deliveries to the UK only. Order before 2pm, no minimum spend.
  • Free standard delivery: on orders over £150 (€250 in Ireland).

Standard parcel deliveries to mainland UK for in-stock items will arrive within 5 days via our approved couriers.

Larger furniture deliveries:

  • Delivered through our Neptune Home Delivery Service, with charges based on the required service level. See our full delivery policy for details.
  • Made-to-order or unavailable items will be dispatched upon arrival at our warehouse, or we’ll contact you to arrange delivery.

  • Made-to-order and painted-to-order designs cannot be amended, cancelled, or returned.
  • Most items can be returned within 28 days of delivery, though courier or collection fees may apply.
