When it comes to painted timber, we use tulipwood, a strong and resilient hardwood. Left bare, it’s not the prettiest to look at, but its fine, almost knot-free grain creates a smooth finish for paint, so its dull appearance is in fact a virtue.

We take great care over our painted finishes and give every design what it needs to be robust. We vary the number of coats and use both hand-painted and spray-painted techniques depending on what that shade requires. We also use our low-sheen, water-based eggshell, which is perfectly suited to bathrooms.

You can choose any of the surfaces in our collection, from natural Carrara marble and granite to low-maintenance quartz, and they’ll be templated to fit however many cabinets you choose. This cabinet has three soft-close drawers; the bottom ‘two’ are actually one doubly deep drawer that’s partitioned to hold bottles upright. The others are shallower, perfect for tubs and pots of things, or anything else that’s easy to lose at the back of a cupboard.
